Our Area of Work
What We Do
At the Dorika Foundation, our mission is to empower vulnerable communities by addressing critical challenges and providing sustainable solutions. We focus on improving the lives of orphans, women-headed households, elderly individuals, and other underprivileged groups in Malawi, with a strong emphasis on education, economic empowerment, and social support.
Education Support
We provide tuition fees, school supplies, and uniforms to underprivileged children, ensuring they can access quality education.
We are transforming Kawaza Primary School into a model institution, equipping it with desks, a library, solar power, and improved infrastructure to create a conducive learning environment.
Empowering Women
Through skill development, financial aid, and social support, we enable women-headed households to achieve economic independence and resilience.
Supporting the Elderly and Vulnerable communities
We believe in caring for those who are often forgotten—the elderly and other vulnerable members of our communities. Many of them face daily struggles to access basic necessities like food, warm clothing, and hygiene items.
Community Support
Community development means more than short-term aid—it’s about creating lasting change by partnering with local stakeholders to address the root causes of poverty, inequality, and exclusion.
