DORIKA FOUNDATION UNIFORM INITIATIVE EXCEEDS TARGET AT KAWAZA PRIMARY SCHOOL

Dorika Foundation is excited to announce the successful completion of its Buy a  Uniform Campaign at Kawaza Primary School in Rumphi District. Through the generous support of our donors and well-wishers, we were able to reach 110 students—55 boys and 55 girls, including learners with disabilities—providing them with brand new school uniforms.

Our initial target was 100 students, but with overwhelming support, we surpassed this goal. The joy and confidence on the children’s faces were heartwarming, and many expressed renewed motivations to remain in school.

One Standard 5 learner, Lilian Zgambo, shared her excitement:

I am very happy to have this uniform. Before, I felt shy to come to school because my clothes were old. Now I feel proud, and I want to learn every day.”

Dorika Foundation is deeply thankful to everyone who contributed funds and supported this initiative. Your generosity has given these children not just uniforms, but hope, dignity, and encouragement to pursue their education.

This is only the beginning. Dorika Foundation will continue to roll out initiatives aimed at improving the learning environment at Kawaza Primary School and, in the near future, extend support to other schools in need. Together, we are shaping brighter futures for Malawi’s children.
